For most people, when buying a new computer system there are so many things that need to be considered that it is easy to get confused by jargon, especially if you get pressured by a pushy salesperson.
We do things differently.
We are not influenced by sales targets or commission-based sales like the computer superstores, so there is no hard sell. As an independent business, our only influence is what the customer actually requires.
We find out what you want to use the computer for and then select the appropriate specification, so that you only pay for what you need. We can then give you a no-obligation quote.
“Prices from just £399”
Here are a few Frequently Asked Questions that may explain things a bit more: –
What is included in the price?
All our prices include VAT and delivery to your home or office. Also included is the initial setup (out of the box) and connection to a printer, so that you do not have the hassle of setting it up – you just need to switch it on. (Further program and Data installation is available at additional charge – please see below).
Prices start from £399 including VAT.
Can I buy Windows 7?
Yes you can, although computer manufacturers are now under pressure from Microsoft to stop building Windows 7 computers, so the availability is nowhere near as high as before, even though Windows 7 is officially supported until 2020.
Unfortunately, due to the low stocks of Windows 7 computers at main distributors the prices now force most people to use Windows 10.
How do we keep our prices down?
We do not keep stocks of computers because we know that the price of computer systems can reduce overnight at distributors. By buying at the best price at the time when we give a no-obligation quote, we do not have to charge higher prices because of in-stock items previously bought.
What about the files from my old computer?
We can transfer all your old data files from the old to the new computer for a small charge (provided that the hard drive on the old computer is still working correctly). That means that your Documents, Pictures, Music, etc. can be transferred onto your new computer, in the same location that you had it before.
Even your internet favourites (bookmarks) and Desktop background can be transferred.
What about my programs?
Unfortunately there is no reliable way to copy whole programs from one computer directly to another. The original installation disk (or downloads) are needed, in order to install the programs on the new computer system.
